Grants

The Council of the Municipal District of Spirit River No. 133

will on an annual basis consider providing grants to organizations for the enhancement or upgrade of cemeteries located within the Municipal boundaries. The grants are to be conditional grants for the specified purposes stated within the application for a grant made by a cemetery organization. The organization shall provide a full accounting for the grant funds advanced.

Ordinary costs for maintenance of cemeteries are not eligible for these grants.

Cemetery Grant CEM.04 - Enhancement

• Eligible applicants: Cemetery organization looking after cemeteries within the Municipal boundaries.
• Eligible uses: Enhancement or upgrade of cemeteries
• Amount: Conditional - specified purposes stated within the grant application.
• Application: Download the CEM.04 Cemetery Grant Enhancement Grant Application or visit the Municipal District office.
• Applicants must provide a full accounting for the grant funds advanced.

The Council of the Municipal District of Spirit River No. 133

will on an annual basis provide grants of $500.00 to organizations for the maintenance of cemeteries located within the Municipal boundaries. The grants are to be annual grants for the operational purposes of the cemetery organization.

That the organization provides a yearly financial and pictorial (picture) report to the Council for filing on a yearly basis.

Subsequent grants to organizations will be dependent upon total compliance with previously awarded grant requirements.

• Eligible applicants: Organizations and individuals looking after cemeteries within the Municipal District boundaries
• Eligible uses: Maintenance to area cemeteries
• Amount: $500 (Limited Funds)

• Applications must be submitted with projected expenditures and outcomes.
