Agricultural Services Board
The Agricultural Service Board enforces the Weed Control Act and any Municipal Bylaws related to weed control within the Municipal District. The Municipal District appoints Inspectors to carry out the Act and ensure weeds are controlled.

Acting Agricultural Fieldman - Kelly Hudson - Profile
I was born and raised on a farm north of Spirit River which was homesteaded by my paternal grandfather. After completing my secondary education in Spirit River I completed an Agricultural Diploma program at Fairview College.
Once receiving my Agricultural Diploma I began as Assistant Agricultural Fieldman at the M.D. of Greenview in Valleyview. I moved to Agricultural Fieldman in Birch Hills County in May 1986. While working in Wanham I continued my education with Development Safety and began my Local Government Administration Course from the University of Alberta. I moved to Saddle Hills County in 1996 where I was the Director of Public works, a position I held until July 2005.
I raise grain and elk on my small farm north of Spirit River. With my family my wife Lisa, son Andrew and daughter Shannon enjoy many outdoor activities including downhill and water skiing, soccer, curling, hockey, golf and fishing.
